Profile: Whole Kids Academy (WKA) is a warm and cheerful Spanish immersion preschool located in North Bethesda, behind Pike and Rose. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, education, and enrichment to children from birth to pre-kindergarten. WKA is a truly special, diverse community of families, children, teachers, and staff who are brought together by our shared love and investment in our children. Our teachers are loving, creative, passionate, experienced, and extremely dedicated to our children. They are the heart of our school.

We believe in nourishing children’s young bodies with nutritious organic food and lots of sunshine, activity, and exercise. We also believe there is a special window of opportunity to reach young children through music and language, which is why both have earned a prominent place in our everyday curriculum. Above all, our goal is to provide children with a solid social-emotional foundation, to feed their curiosity, and to keep their imagination and creativity alive and well. We hope to teach all children to fall in love with the journey of learning.
