Sugar Plums’ intention is to foster a nurturing environment of open-ended exploration, creativity, curiosity and growth for children, teachers, and parents that promote our connections to the community, and the world around us.

We find the best way to engage and encourage each and every child at a level that makes them comfortable in their surroundings. Our child-centered program is a play-based curriculum rooted in sound research and developmentally appropriate practices that reveal and enhance each child’s skills.

From the moment you walk through the front door, every aspect of our early childhood education center is designed to support your child and focus on the important relationships between teachers, children and families.

Sugar Plums believes in an environment that expands each child’s understanding of the world. The classrooms are set up in a comfortable design for the children to learn and grow each day. We believe in encouraging the development of a positive self-image for all students. Our curriculum is tailored to reflect the interests of children and offers opportunities for self-expression.

Sugar Plums is an inclusive setting where a broad range of abilities is accepted as natural and necessary to create a rich tapestry of diversity. We have a deep appreciation for each family’s culture and customs. Sugar Plums is about understanding all children, both their strengths and challenges. This is what makes each child special and able to learn in our safe and loving environment.
